    CIC requirements

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) requires that all immigrants applying for permanent residency undergo a medical exam performed by a designated panel physician, a certified immigration doctor. Your own physician cannot perform this particular medical examination and specific protocol.

Dr. Morel and his staff are trained to meet these requirements.

  • eMedical System

    eMedical System

At Dr. René Morel’s clinic, all immigration medicals results intended for Citizenship and Immigration Canada are sent via the eMedical system.

eMedical is an online system operated by the government, designed to submit medical reports of the immigration exams, x-rays and laboratory tests. This electronic system is more precise, convenient and faster than conventional means.

We must emphasize that the online system does not make the procedure easier! The Medical Information inherent to the immigration process is still quite complex and time consuming for the doctor and his staff and we are fully committed to this task.
